Meet Dr. Yasmin Maldonado-Stitt
Rheumatologist
I am originally from Guatemala but earned my medical degree and completed both my Internal Medicine residency and Rheumatology fellowship at the University of Texas McGovern at Houston. I have now moved to beautiful Oregon to provide rheumatologic care to the people in and around Southern Oregon.
As a rheumatologist, I diagnose and treat a wide variety of diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, vasculitis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, Sjögren’s syndrome, myopathies, and scleroderma, among others. I also perform procedures such as joint injections and aspirations to help with pain from arthritis.
Throughout my training, I have developed a passion for patient care and advocating for my patients. I pride myself in providing high quality and thoughtful care and strive to keep up to date with the most innovative therapies. I look forward to building long lasting relationships with my patients, as I understand the importance of trust and dependability for a patient with chronic disease.
When not at work, I love to be outdoors hiking, biking, and camping with my husband, kids, and dogs.

Meet the Support Staff
Dog
Mars is a (mostly) good boy who also has a passion for patient care. He has a bachelor's degree in Emotional Support and is currently working on a dual master's in Sitting and Zoomies.
When not outside smelling things, he loves to spend his time in rheumatology offices chewing bones, finding treats, and trying to convince his co-workers he should run free. He has his own office, and is currently taking new patients.
