ABOUT US
Located in Ashland, Oregon, Yasmin Maldonado-Stitt, MD is a private rheumatology practice that works with patients that have or may have disorders of the joints, connective tissues, and autoimmune diseases.
We have an infusion room on-site to allow for patients to receive their IV medication in the comfort of our office. For convenience, we also have a private on-site lab for blood draws.
Heading the practice is Dr. Yasmin Maldonado, FACR and board-certified Rheumatologist.
An Introduction from Dr. Maldonado
I am originally from Guatemala, but earned my medical degree and completed both my Internal Medicine residency and Rheumatology fellowship at the University of Texas McGovern at Houston. I have now moved to beautiful Oregon to provide rheumatologic care to the people in and around Southern Oregon.
As a rheumatologist, I diagnose and treat a wide variety of diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, lupus, vasculitis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, Sjögren’s syndrome, myopathies, and scleroderma, among others. I also perform procedures such as joint injections and aspirations to help with pain from arthritis.
Throughout my training, I have developed a passion for patient care and advocating for my patients. I pride myself in providing high quality and thoughtful care and strive to keep up to date with the most innovative therapies. I look forward to building long lasting relationships with my patients, as I understand the importance of trust and dependability for a patient with chronic disease.
When not at work, I love to be outdoors hiking, biking, and camping with my husband, kids, and dogs.
